The Library Door, Membership and Reservations

A speakeasy with no doorman, no booking fees and its own guest list.

Live at The Library, a partner venue in Miami

The Library Door, Membership and Reservations, built by Multitap

The problem

The Library is a hidden bar. It needed a way to let members in without a doorman, take reservations without paying a booking platform on every cover, and actually know who came through the door.

What we built

A digital member card where your phone number is the card. A door system that checks the card and unlocks the door, with guest lists and opening hours built in. A reservation engine with arrival windows, confirmations and day-of reminders, plus review requests that go only to people the door actually let in. Behind the bar, an inventory system reads distributor invoices from a photo and prices every cocktail from what the bottles really cost.

How it works in the room

A guest claims a card on the website and books a time. That night they hold their phone up to the scanner at the door, the lock clicks open, and they walk in. The next morning they get a thank-you with a link to leave a review.

What it changes

The bar owns its guest list from the first night. It pays nobody per reservation, it knows which bookings actually came through the door, and it asks for reviews only from people who were really there.
